Apple Watch EKG features now available in Europe with watchOS 5.2 update

Apple today has enabled the EKG reading feature for Apple Watch Series 4 users in Europe and Hong Kong. The iPhone maker has previously released an EKG feature in the US in December after making a large portion of the Apple Watch Series 4, which was first introduced in September. Apple provides EKG functionality outside the US via the latest watchOS 5.2 update, including 19 countries in Europe and Hong Kong.

Apple Watch Series 4 users can read the EKG via the Health app. Iphone. To use the EKG, open the EKG app on your watch and place your index finger on the crown. Apple Watch records your electrocardiogram and heartbeat and stores it in the Health application on iPhone. You can then create a PDF report and send the results to your doctor.

WatchOS 5.2 includes a new Hermè watch face and various bug fixes and security updates. You can download watchOS 5.2 through the Apple Watch app on the currently supported iPhone.
