Apple updates iMovie, GarageBand, iWork, and Clips as new devices launch

The official release of Apple's fall hardware was officially released, so the company released updates to its video production and productivity applications.

First, the new iMovie update allows users to connect an external display to their iPad or iPhone. You can then mirror the screen or preview it in full screen. (Full screen preview requires iPhone 7 or later, 6th generation iPad or later, or 2017 iPad Pro or later.) The 3rd generation 11-inch iPad Pro also supports uncompressed 4K video output and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro. IMovie for desktop now has a new export option called "Prepare for Facebook". You can then export your Facebook-compatible video files and manually upload them to Facebook without any problems.

Clips, 6 new Selfie scenes (360-degree background) and filters, stickers, and 17 additional soundtracks added to your iPhone or iPad automatically match the video length. The new Selfie Scenes will work on the latest iPhone only when you use iPhone X's TrueDepth camera sensor to create augmented scenery for your self.
