Amazon is reportedly looking to expand its cashier-less Go stores to airports

While Amazon's cashier's Goier stores have slowly spread throughout the country, retailers are likely to visit other locations for the next expansion: Airport, Reuters .

It is not a secret that Amazon is looking to expand its retail space. Earlier this year Bloomberg reports that Amazon plans to add up to 3,000 Amazon Go stores by 2021.

According to Reuters Amazon reiterated the possibility of Los Angeles International Airport and San Jose International Airport adding a Go store at the airport in June as a concession option.

Movement is meaningful. The personality of a store without a line, cashier, or register is a perfect option for going to a terminal or snacking between concise connections, and the automated nature of the Amazon Go store means that the airport's 24-hour timetable is never a problem.

Both airports, however, told Reuters that beyond the first June limousine there was no more dialogue with the Amazon. Even if you are interested in Amazon, you have to go through competitive bidding to actually compete with other airports.
