A new way for small and midsize businesses to stay secure and current

Small and midsize businesses face many challenges in today's economy. Even in the face of changing threats, it's not easy to attract customers in new and different ways, attracting and retaining talent, and staying secure in a changing context. The right tools will help you solve these challenges, helping your employees be innovative and productive while keeping their assets safe. It also saves you time and money and helps you maintain customer trust and loyalty. With Microsoft 365, we're building tools that will keep our customers safe and up-to-date and build tools for success today and in the future. And today, we announce new proposals to make these tools easier to use in small and medium-sized businesses.

Microsoft always wants the right tools to set up a business. For success. Falling back in October, there are new proposals to keep employees productive and secure. With Windows 10, Office 365, and the latest devices with the latest security features and Microsoft 365 Business, you can do this.

Many people are doing a good job of deploying Windows 10, but everyone is at a different point in the upgrade process. With that in mind today, we will be expanding the availability of paid Windows 7 Extended Security Update (ESU) to businesses of all sizes by January 2023. (Previously, Windows 7 ESU was only available to Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise customers in Volume Licensing.) Windows 7 ESU is sold on a device-by-device basis with increasing prices every year.

From December 1, 2019, companies of all sizes will be able to purchase ESU through the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. This means that customers can work with their partners to get the security they need while using Windows 10.

Partners in the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program can visit the Microsoft Partner Center for more information. In the meantime, Windows 7 customers who want to take advantage of paid security updates from December 1 can visit our FAQ page for more information. Finally, go to the support page to learn more about Windows 7 end of support and Office 365 Business.

We're always working to build the right tools for today's business. No matter what new challenge you have, you and your staff will always be ready for success.
